From Auckland
- Cross the Harbour Bridge heading north and stay on the
Northern Motorway (Hwy 1) until it ends at Orewa.
- Continue north on Highway 1, through Warkworth, Wellsford
and Whangarei. Another 55 kms beyond Whangarei will bring
you to Kawakawa.
- At Kawakawa, turn left, staying on Highway 1 and following
signs to Kaitaia. Its about 100 kms from Kawakawa to Kaitaia.
- As you enter Kaitaia, take the road signposted to Ahipara.
This will be a left turn.
- Take the road west to the village of Ahipara, about 15
kms from Kaitaia.
- Drive past the Ahipara School on your left and take the
first left turn. This will be Foreshore Road. (The village
of Ahipara will be to the right as you make this left turn.)
- Keep going for about a kilometre until you see a beach
car-park on your right. Opposite, on the left, you will
see Tasman Heights Road. Turn left onto Tasman Heights Rd.
- Follow Tasman Heights Rd. up the hill until it curves
and narrows and you'll eventually see the "Siesta"
signs. We're on the right.

Zealand flights per day between Auckland and Kaitaia.
The Kaitaia Airport is a handy 20 minute drive from Siesta.
Of course, we offer complementary pick-up service between
Siesta and Kaitaia Airport.
