To our visitors and prospective guests:
We are proud of and genuinely love the wonderful, tropical
north region of New Zealand. Appropriately called “The
Far North”, it is an area of uncommon beauty and serenity,
possessing some of the finest beaches that you will ever encounter.
And there’s so much to do in the area that it boggles
the mind. Yet, for some reason, it remains largely undiscovered.
We want to share our area with you. One way to demonstrate
this willingness is for you to peruse the “Sights, Attractions
and Activities” section of our web site. A lot of effort
and painstaking care went into the development of what you’re
now looking at and we believe you need not go any further
if you want to learn about The Far North. It’s all here!!
Another obvious way to share our area with you is for you
to visit in person. Whether you stay with us at Siesta or
not isn’t as important to us as the fact that you came
to the Far North in the first place. However, if you do choose
to stay with us, we will do all we can to make your stay as
comfortable, rewarding and memorable as possible.
We do have one word of advice, though, and this is based
on the bittersweet reaction that we’ve had from hundreds
of departing guests over the years, especially those visiting
New Zealand for the first, or even second, time. Their reactions
have been mixed because they only planned a one day visit
and they generally saw a very small fraction of what the Far
North has to offer in their single day. Their reaction to
what they did see has been unfailingly positive. Having to
depart so soon, however, usually leaves a residual emptiness
that can only be described as “bittersweet”.
If we don’t get another point across in this message,
the one we do want to emphatically make is; if you are contemplating
a visit to the Far North, we strongly urge that you make it
a “destination”, not just a “stopover”.
To underscore this point, we offer significant tariff reductions
for longer stays (3 days or more) at Siesta Lodge and Villa.
It’s a win-win for all concerned, especially for you
because you will have the opportunity to see so much more
of the incredible Far North than you could in just 24 hours.
So come on up to the winterless north……and stay
a while! We guarantee you won’t regret it.
